Broadcasting

Broadcast seeding  a common method of seeding used for planting various types of crops. In this method seeds are scattered by hand or mechanically over a comparatively large area. It is easy, fast and simple compared to other methods of seeding.  Most grasses, grains and shallow rooted plants are planted via broadcasting.

Benefits of broadcast has its benefits when compared to other seeding methods like drill seeding and hydroseeding,.  For example broadcast seeding has a lower cost due to reduced labour and time.
